In A Rush For A Sweet Fix?

Ever felt like you absolutely needed to eat something sweet, and yet time crunch and your own lazy self got the better of you? I am referring to the real dessert craving which a spoonful of sugar cannot satisfy.If you have felt this way, I am also sure that you have at some point looked for an easy to make dessert recipe on the internet. But alas. While some sites have led you to believe that there is no such thing as an "Easy To Make Dessert", others have given you false hopes of "2 Ingredient Dessert Recipes" that use two premixes as the two ingredients.After scouring the internet and experimenting in the kitchen I have come up with four recipes that was both easy to make and have only two or three ingredients.Here they are:

Banana and Peanut Butter Ice Cream

Ingredients:
Bananas                 4 nos
Peanut Butter         4 tbsp
Fresh Cream         50 ml

Method:
  • Blend all three ingredients in a food processor till smooth and creamy texture is achieved.
  • Pour in an airtight container and freeze overnight.


Banana Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients:
Bananas                4 nos
Oats                      100 g

Method:
  • Mash the bananas and oats together till a mushy batter forms.
  • Spoon onto a greased baking tray and bake for 20 minutes at 120*C.


Mango Fro-Yo

Ingredients:
Mango                4 nos
Yogurt                100 g

Method:

  • Hang yogurt in a muslin cloth for at least 1 hour to drain out excess water.
  • Make puree of mango pulp and pass it through a strainer to remove fiber.
  • Mix both ingredients together and freeze overnight.


Lemon Ice Cream

Ingredients:
Lemon                  4 nos
Condensed Milk    200 g
Soda Water           50 ml

Method:




  • Mix all ingredients together swiftly.
  • Do not overmix.
  • Pour into airtight container and freeze overnight.
  • Garnish with lemon zest.
